We serve a diverse clientele who are interested in help and
advice for all kinds of businesses. We seek men and women of all
ages and with a variety of business backgrounds. If you have
something to offer and want to help others, we want to talk with
you.
You don't need to be an expert in everything to be of
service. Remember, we'll also train you. If you are interested

Volunteer Counseling Member
SCORE is made up of volunteers from all backgrounds
coming together as a team to complete a common goal: to
help small businesses succeed. The Tri-County Score
Chapter is always looking for community-conscious
individuals who enjoy learning, problem-solving business
challenges and sharing their knowledge with emerging and
in-business entrepreneurs. Nationwide 10,500 men and
women, retired and working, donate their time and talent
to assist America’s entrepreneurs. At our 687 SCORE
offices, volunteers provide confidential one-to-one and
team business counseling and low-cost entrepreneurial
training workshops and seminars. In addition, many
counselors are virtual volunteers, providing email
counseling directly from their homes or offices.
As a SCORE volunteer, you will:

Be a leader in the effort to provide real-world
assistance to small businesses.

Gain fulfillment by sharing your business experience
and expertise with a new generation of
entrepreneurs.

Build relationships with local business leaders to
provide economic growth and employment opportunities
in the local area.

Connect with entrepreneurs though counseling, or
share your knowledge at SCORE’s entrepreneurial
training workshops.

Associate members
of the Tri-County SCORE Chapter 687 are members
who receive referrals from counselors for
specific services for SCORE Clients.
a. Associate
members pay an annual fee of $150.00
b. Associate
members must provide a portfolio or information
sheet (see enclosed in packet) on services
offered by them at a discounted rate to Score
referrals.
c. Associate
members must provide initial consultation to
SCORE referral at no charge.
d. As
an Associate member – each participant will be
listed in our SCORE Information guide featured
in our quarterly newsletter and Associate
members brochure.
e. Associate
member will be guest speakers at all Seminars
and Workshops in their particular field of
expertise at no costs to Tri-County SCORE.
Associate member will receive a list of all
names of attendees for all Seminars and
Workshops, regardless if they participate.
f. At
each counseling session, Associate members
portfolio will be distributed to the client.
g. Associate
members information will be included with our
SCORE packet distributed to all Entrepreneurs
who request a trade name application.
h. Associate
members receive a Tri-County SCORE logo for
their door or window.
i. Associate
members will receive a membership card.
j. Associate
members will be listed on the Tri-County SCORE
website with a link to their website.

Corporate Membership

Corporate Members who
support the chapter and make financial, product
or service donations to be used to fund
Seminars, Workshops and other education events
as well as special events.

As a Corporate Member, your staff can receive
FREE training seminars and workshops from our
list of Educational Programs. Tri-County SCORE
will promote your company at all events
including events that you do not hosts. Each
Tri-County SCORE client will receive an
information packet on your company.
