ENTREPRENEURSHIP Expert Training Program
This series of Seminars is designed for the Entrepreneur who is at the beginning stages of starting their business. At Tri-County Score we will provide as many FREE counseling sessions as needed, however to obtain a certification as an "Entrepreneur Expert", which becomes an asset to your Business Portfolio and Resume to be used for a small business loan with any bank, it will prove to be a positive. Bankers will see that you have been trained in key areas to run your business. There are two levels of this certification as indicated below:

Entrepreneurship 101 - level one
Tri-County Score - Chapter 687 offers a full day workshop that introduces the Entrepreneur to the requirements of starting a business. This full day session allows the Entrepreneur to hear from experts in the world of business. Guest speakers include: an accountant, an attorney, a banker, an insurance broker, a technology expert, the SBA - small business association, etc. Attendee's receive valuable information all in one setting, which allows them to ask questions, get answers and begin the process of starting their business. Attendee's earn One (1) Tri-County Score credit for attending this full day workshop.

Entrepreneurship 101 - level two (each seminar is a two hour session or all sessions in a 2 day workshop)

Seminar One: Entrepreneurship and the real work it takes to start and operate a business. Attendee's complete all steps of the Entrepreneurship component of "How to Really Start a Business". Attendees receive a "Entrepreneurship Planning Kit". Students earn 1.5 credits for this seminar.

Seminar Two: Your Business Plan
Attendee's develop a draft business plan using Tri-County Score Pre-Business Plan document. Upon successful completion of the pre-business plan document, a conference is scheduled to review the finished product a counselor and a bank representative. Attendee's then begin to write the business plan using a popular business plan software program. The draft computerized copy of the business plan is then reviewed by the same team who reviewed the first draft. Changes are made and the final copy is printed in a professional format. Students earn 3 credits for this seminar.

Seminar Three: Marketing and Sales
Topics include developing a strategic marketing plan, promotion and advertising. How to create your marketing and advertising documents using the latest in technology hardware and software. How to create a professional business proposal along with a win-win sales pitch that will bring results. Students earn 1.5 credits for this seminar.

Seminar Four: Financial and Financing
Creating a financial plan and managing your company's finances is critical in a small business. Experts teach about accounting systems, financial reports and business portfolio. Loan sources and how to be successful in obtaining loans is discussed. Attendees receive a free copy of "Quick Books Business Kit". Students earn 1.5 credits for this seminar.

Seminar Five: The Importance of Technology in your Business
Topics include learning what is needed to run a successful business in terms of technology hardware and software. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Publisher, Front Page), Computerized Accounting and Quick books. Creating a Technology Business Plan and Tracking customer information and your business data. Attendee's will receive a free "Technology Business Kit". Students earn 1.5 credits for this seminar.

Attendee's earn Nine (9) Tri-County Score extended education credits for successfully completing all seminars of the Entrepreneurship 101 - level two Workshop. Combined total credits for level one and level two is Ten (10) Tri-County Score extended education credits. Upon earning ten credits you will receive a certificate titled: "Entrepreneurship Expert".
